Biographical History
Dick Martin is a social anarchist active British Columbia who has co-edited two occasional anarchist-pacifist publications—Any Time Now (with Larry Gambone) and Ahimsazine. He co-organized the Kootenay Anarchists of BC, a group of “active agitators for social change in the communities in and around the Kootenay Lake region of BC” seeking “to build the elements of a free society that are autonomous from governing authority.”
Scope and Content
Items in this collection were published in India in the 1970s and 1980s. The author, Swami Nirmalananda (1863–1938), was an Indian anarchist who had an impact on the Gandhian-anarchist “satyagraha” movement.
