Administrative History

The Queer Anarchist Network was a Toronto-based organization involved in queer politics and activism. The Queer Anarchist Network was created by Ken Quayle and produced the zines Coming On and Jerking Off.

The photograph taken by Alekz Vermont in 1988 shows friends and residents of “Kathedral B,” a queer anarchist collective house in Toronto (Source Alternative Toronto).

Scope and Content

The collection consists of anarchist and queer activism-themed articles, calendars, and correspondence. Includes documents relating to Northeastern Federation of Anarcho-Communists, HIV/AIDS research, and Libertarian Communism.
